Really hyped to see Kevin Steen kill Matt Hardy
“Let me tell you something, I cut this promo before getting kicked out of Ring of Honor, calling myself the Anti-Christ of Ring of Honor. When I came back, I wanted to run with it. Jim Cornette said ‘You can’t be Mr. Wrestling any more because you don’t wrestle!’. Alright, whatever. So, I’ll just go with the Anti-Christ. ‘No! It’s not good, it’s a TV product!’. And I’m like ugh. So he looks at me, he looks at my arm. He’s like ‘How about this?’. And this is in public, there’s people around!
‘Mr Evil.’
MR. EVIL!!!
MR. EVIL. So in front of people, I said, THAT’S FUCKING AWFUL!
‘Well god damnit, come up with something better!’
I said, give me two minutes! And then the fuckin ‘Pro Wrestling Nightmare’ debacle happened, but hey it’s better than MR. EVIL. Like, ONE MILLION DOLLARS. What’s wrong!? I know that’s Dr. Evil, but shit!”

I doubt some of these fangirls would embrace guys like Kevin Steen or Samoa Joe if they jumped ship to the WWE. Maybe they’ll ride Samoa Joe’s nuts a little cuz the only posts I usually see from him is past shit with CM Punk and you know how they feel about him. But Kevin Steen? He doesn’t look like the typical guy you’d see in the WWE. He’s a heavy set dude with okay looks forreal. But he’s one of the very best in the independent scene today. But no one talks about him as much as guys like Adam Cole who’s the prototypical wrestler with good size and looks.
Kevin Steen’s one that tends to be overlooked when the question arises of who should get signed next. And I feel like he wouldn’t be embraced like a Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Cm Punk, Antonio Cesaro, etc, etc. But there is hope for guys of his type as it took a while for a guy like Bray Wyatt to be accepted. He just needed the right gimmick to get him there.
